Ian Walker
Ian is a man with a vision and likes nothing more than buying up old dilapidated Guernsey properties and transforming them into sympathetically and stylishly designed hotels. He purchased the Bella Luce in 2007 and renovation plans began immediately.

Trained as a civil engineer Ian has an eye for architecture and can recognise the potential of a building and visualise the possibilities for development. He now has three hotels in Guernsey, and each of them has been bought for their natural architectural aesthetic.

Ian describes his businesses as superb restaurants that just happen to have some excellent rooms upstairs.

 

Tracey Mahy
Tracey has worked under the Roux brothers, been head pastry chef at The Ritz, and has served cakes to hungry celebrities in St Morritz.

We are lucky enough to have her as our newest recruit at the Bella Luce, working as our head pastry chef. She is in charge of every single pudding that comes out of the kitchen for Lucifers and the main restaurant as well as providing speciality cakes for functions such as weddings. No dessert tastes the same after you have tasted one made by Tracey. They are very very good.
