WHERE WE ARE
For those that don't know the beautiful Island of Guernsey it is 60 miles south west of England, approximately 19 miles west of Northern France and 21 miles from Jersey. The Bella Luce sits on the peaceful south coast of the island, just a short meander down a very scenic valley to the cliffs and beaches.
Our closest swimming spot is Moulin Huet Bay, a secret cove which uncovers itself at low tide. This bay is usually only used by locals due to the difficulty in finding it and tourists will find themselves on an extremely steep hike down a narrow overgrown track before the path opens out on to a fabulous view and the energetic can carry on the rocky clamber on to the beach below.
Moulin Huet Bay was the subject matter for several Renoir paintings and is known locally as one of the most naturally beautiful parts of the island.
